Introducing the KDE Desktop 80 Getting Started Guide 2. Choose the Background item in the Desktop section of the Control Center. (See Figure 41.) FIGURE 41.  You can configure the appearance of each KDE virtual Desktop individually on the Background tab. 3. Select the Desktop for which you want to set the background colors. Each Desktop can have different background colors and/or wallpaper. 4. To select a single-color background, choose the One Color button. 5. To select a two color (gradient or shaded) background, choose the Two Color radio button. 6. Click on either or both of the color bars to set the color of that bar. A Select Color dialog box is displayed (see Figure 42), where you can select one of the system colors, or define your own custom colors.
